Library accounts typically activate/reactivate automatically every term so long as a student is enrolled in classes, but sometimes the library system experiences a problem connecting with the main University system. When this happens, a library account (for students, faculty, staff, even librarians!) can become expired in error.
To correct this problem (or any library login/access problems) call Access Services at 989-774-3114.
