Q. How do I list tables in the table of contents for my capstone paper?
Last Updated: Feb 23, 2022     Views: 3436

When formatting an APA manuscript, your Table of Contents should show all the structural elements of the report - chapter headings, subheadings, references, appendices. If a section continues for a number of pages, only the initial page is given. The list of tables and the list of figures state the page on which each table or figure can be found. You should list tables and figures, using roman numeral page numbers. Please see the Student Guide to the MSA Capstone Projects (linked below) for more information.

You may want to take a look at the MSA sample papers that have applied the 6th edition of the APA style manual (generally dated 2010 or later).  See the link below to locate sample papers.

ALWAYS verify with your instructor the format you should follow.
