You can check to see if the full text for a specific article is available online by using the FIND IT search form linked below. Simply enter the information from the citation into the form, then click the GO button to see if the item is available through CMU's licensed databases.
If the full text is not available online, or if you'd prefer to have the document delivered to you electronically, you can request the item through our Documents on Demand service.
To request specific articles from Documents on Demand, use the online request form linked below (ILLiad).
You will need to provide citation information about the item you would like to request, so please note the title, author, publication date, and for journal articles, the name of the journal, the volume, issue and page numbers.
Also include the following contact information:
Center where attending class
Course (e.g. MSA 600, EDU 660)
Status (graduate, undergraduate, faculty or staff)
Not needed after date (i.e. the date by which you must receive materials)
*** NOTE ***
If you are searching Google Scholar, don't forget that you can configure your settings so that your results list will show links to "Find It @ CMU". You simply change the settings on each computer you use to do your research, then follow the links to log into the CMU databases to access full text online for many of the resources discovered through Google Scholar. See the link below for instructions.
