Q. Westlaw - printing/downloading issues in Chrome browser

If you are using Google Chrome Version 34 or higher with Westlaw you may need to modify Internet Options to resolve printing/downloading issues.

  1. Click the three vertical dots menu in the upper right corner then select Settings
  2. Click Privacy and settings from the left, and then click Site Settings
  3. Scroll down to and click Pop-ups and redirects
  4. Select "Don't allow sites to send pop-ups or use redirects"
  5. Under Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects, click Add and type campus.westlaw.com, and click Add. Follow the same steps to add web2.westlaw.com, next.westlaw.com, and westlaw.com
  6. Back out of Pop-ups and redirects exceptions and then out of Site Settings
  7. Select Advanced from the left and then Downloads
  8. Turn on Ask where to save each file before downloading
  9. Close all Google Chrome windows.
