CMU Library FAQ

MeLCat is an interlibrary loan service where over 400 Michigan libraries share their collections with each other. Documents on Demand serves as a MeLCat delivery point for on campus students at CMU.

CMU off-campus students, faculty, and staff should make requests through their Documents On Demand account for needed items. Your item may still come from a Michigan library, but by using your On Demand account we will get it shipped to you correctly.

Michigan residents can check their local public library and see if they are eligible to use MeLCat services there.
