We typically send a reminder email to all professors 6-8 weeks before the next semester starts and we suggest getting your requests submitted as soon as possible after that to ensure everything is ready on time. The more lead time we have, the more likely the material will be ready for your class.
Some rights holders reply within a few days, while others take longer.
